Imagine that you are sitting at the edge of a lake, and you observe a boat going fast. The water is calm in front of the boat, it forms waves after it passes. These waves are a consequence of the movement of the boat.
Look at a leaf growing on a tree. This sheet can be seen as a consequence of its existence.

Just look around to find plenty of other examples. Take any event and focus on one of its consequences by keeping the desired event in your consciousness and it will come true.
